Common Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to complete the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the land situated in Survey No.11/1A1 of Servaikaranmadam Village, Thoothukudi District, by determining the compensation payable for the acquired land and depositing the compensation amount fixed into the Court and also refer the matter to the Court for determination of the correct compensation amount due to the petitioner. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sarvagan Prabhu (in both W.Ps.) For Respondents : Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian Government Advocate (in both W.Ps.) COMMON ORDER By this common order both the writ petitions are being disposed of. 2/4

These writ petitions are filed seeking direction to the respondents to complete the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the land situated in Survey No.11/1A1 of Servaikaranmadam Village, Thoothukudi District by determining the compensation payable to the land owners and deposit the same before the Court.

3. When the writ petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 on written instructions from the District Collector, Thoothukudi submits that the compensation amount was determined and deposited before the Principal District Court (Land Acquisition Tribunal), Thoothukudi on 24.02.2025. The statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 stands recorded.

4. With the above observations, both the writ petitions are closed. No costs.
