The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction monthly family pension to the petitioner as early as possible.

2.Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2017 shall be disposed of, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.11.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there are no legal impediments. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
