ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against her husband and other in-laws on 02.05.2025 and has filed this petition that the complaint of the petitioner has not been attended by the official respondents.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that it is matrimonial dispute and therefore, the complaint of the petitioner was referred to the Social Welfare Officer on 21.05.2025. They are awaiting for the report from the Social Welfare Officer. Depending upon the outcome of the Social Welfare 2/5

Officer, they would proceed with the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and co-operate for the enquiry. The respondent Police shall ensure that the husband and other in-laws of the petitioner are participating in the enquiry conducted by the Social Welfare Officer. The respondent Police is directed to take the final decision on the complaint of the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
