ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give necessary Police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2022.

2. The facts of the case are that there was a dispute between the petitioner and respondents 3 to 5 with regard to encroachment of common path way. The private respondents threatened the petitioner and his family members in various manner. Having no other way, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 08.07.2022 to the respondents Police seeking for protection. Since, no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition is available on the file of the respondent Police and now they are ready to consider. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the second respondent Police to provide sufficient protection by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2022 and take suitable action on merits as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
