PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry or investigation under the false notion and to return back the statement forcefully obtained from the petitioners.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry or investigation under the false notion and to return back the statement forcefully obtained from the petitioners.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, there has been money dispute between the parties and the respondent police is forcing the petitioners to settle the money dispute. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioners appeared before the respondent police and undertook to settle the amount due to the complainant within the stipulated time.

5. It is made clear that, if the petitioners does not pay the amount to the complainant, the complainant has to approach the Civil Court in order to redress his remedy and not before the Police Station.
