ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to conclude the investigation and file a Charge Sheet in Crime No.3 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.3 of 2020, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 447 & 506(ii) & 109 IPC and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act on 02.01.2021. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of six months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that six witnesses have been examined so far. Totally five accused in this case and the fifth accused was granted Anticipatory bail and other accused persons are absconding. He seeks two months time to complete the investigation.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report within a period of two months https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12491 of 2021 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
