ORDER

This Petition has been filed seeking to withdraw the I.D.O.P.No. 360 of 2021 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Thiruvallur and transfer the same to the Family Court, Thoothukudi. 1/4

2.The brief facts are as follows:

The marriage between the parties was solemnized on 12.02.2020. Thereafter, trouble was arose between them. Hence, the respondent filed the above said IDOP proceedings before the Principal District, Thiruvallur, seeking divorce. Now the petitioner residing with her parents. Hence, she is unable to attend the hearing at Thiruvallur. Hence, she filed this petition seeking transfer of the same to the Family Court, Thoothukudi.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that now both parties are working in Chennai. Hence, he made objection. But, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that at present she is residing with her parents.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the convenience of the wife, the I.D.O.P.No.360 of 2021 2/4

filed by the respondent on the file of the Principal District Judge, Thiruvallur, is ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court, Thoothukudi.

6.Accordingly, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29.02.2024 Index :
