Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 16.07.2019 and 17.07.2019 from 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. in pursuant to the Aani festival of Arulmighu Sri Maha Kaliyamman Temple, situated at North Pudukudi, Kottaipattinam Post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 29.06.2019 and 01.07.2019. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs the Court that there is no rival claim and that he is espousing the cause of the entire villagers.

2.Recoding the said submission, the second respondent is directed to grant permission to conduct the petition mentioned event. The second respondent shall issue appropriate proceedings in this regard by incorporating suitable conditions for regulating the smooth conduct of the event.

3.The writ petition stands allowed on these terms. No costs.
