By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

3. Alleging some irregularities in the petitioner-company's "Hot Bitumen Mixing Unit", situated at Ramavarmanchirai, Idaikodu Village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, the second respondent has passed an order dated 07.08.2017, imposing a fine of Rs.4,26,324/-. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner-company has submitted an appeal petition before the first respondent on 17.08.2017 & 20.08.2017 and as the same are kept pending, without any action, they are before this Court, seeking a direction for early disposal of their appeal.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal petitions of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017 & 20.08.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
