This writ petition has been filed, seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2017 and to issue patta in petitioner's name in respect of the lands in Survey No.508/3 of an extent of 3 Acres and Survey No.509/4 of an extent of 3 Acres in Panchalankurichi Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District.
2.Heard both sides.
3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that neither civil suit nor rival claim whatsoever is pending, in respect of the property in question. Alleging that the name in the revenue records was mentioned wrongly, the petitioner sent several representations to the respondent, seeking to rectify the same and grant patta in his favour. Since all the representations failed to bring any fruitful result, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
