ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent / Tahsildar, Madurai East in Madurai, to consider a representation given by the petitioner on 23.08.2022 in O.Mu.No. 6377/2022/A4, with respect to the lands in survey no.46/1, Velliyankundram village, Madurai North Taluk, presently Madurai East Taluk, totally measuring 58 cents.

2. The said land had been purchased by the petitioner, his brother and his sisters, Annadurai and Kavitha on 03.04.2008. The third respondent is a predecessor in title.

3. A direction is given to the second respondent to proceed further by examining the credentials of the application given and in accordance with seniority, proceed if the records are in order, to mutate the patta on the basis of the title deeds of the petitioner / his brother / his sisters. Giving and placing a direction that the order of seniority should not be violated on any ground, this 2/4

writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
