Side) PRAYER :- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita Act, 2023, to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5105 of 2026, dated 02.06.2026, directing her to deposit a sum of Rs.2,30,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.2 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police and also directing her to appear daily before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., daily for a period of 15 days is concerned. This petition has been filed by the petitioners to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5105 of 2026, dated 02.06.2026, directing her to deposit a sum of Rs.2,30,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.2 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police and also directing her to appear daily before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., daily for a period of 15 days is concerned.
2.By the order dated 02.06.2026 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5105 of 2026, this Court directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,30,000/- to the credit of Crime number 2 of 2026 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner has not complied the above said condition till now. 4.This Court is not satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the petitioner and also in view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed by this Court earlier. 5.However, the time for complying the above said condition is extended 2/4
for a period of 10 days from today and also the petitioner shall report before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m., once in a week, i.e., on every Saturday, until further orders. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. (K R S J) 29.06.2026 TM To 1.The Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli.
