The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 16.05.2016 to save the life of petitioner (social activist).
2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. Heard the petitioner/party-in-person and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without going into merits of the case, the sixth respondent, The Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur District, Thanjavur is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the petitioner to put-forth her grievance.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
