Heard both sides.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he filed M.P.No.2 of 2013 in O.A.No.9 of 2001 on the file of the respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said M.P.No.2 of 2013 is pending on the file of the respondent without any action. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner's M.P.No.2 of 2013 in O.A.No.9 of 2001 is pending on the file of the respondent, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits and contents of M.P.No.2 of 2013 in O.A.No.9 of 2001, on the file of the respondent, at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ this stage, simpliciter, directs the respondent/Joint Commissioner, H.R & C.E Department, Trichy to take up the said M.P.No.2 of 2013 in

O.A.No.9 of 2001, pending on his file, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent is directed to pass necessary, speaking orders in M.P.No.2 of 2013 in O.A.No.9 of 2001, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
