ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is direct the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachment made by the sixth respondent in Town Survey No.3019, situated at Kondaiyampettai Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2025.

2.During the pendency of the present Writ Petition, the Trichirappalli Corporation issued a notice to the sixth respondent/Smt.Akilambal. She filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.18460 of 2025, challenging the said notice dated 19.06.2025. This Court, by order dated 08.07.2025, directed that the said notice be treated as a show cause notice in compliance with Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 and granted liberty to the sixth respondent to submit her explanations.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent submitted that a representation has been submitted by the sixth respondent to the competent authority.

4.In view of the above, the Trichirappalli Corporation is directed to look into the same, take a decision and pass final orders. Thereafter, the Corporation shall proceed with enforcement actions and remove the encroachments. Since a period of twelve weeks has already been granted by this Court in W.P(MD)No.18460 of 2025, the said timeline is to be complied with by the authorities of the Corporation.

5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
