O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to grant to conduct the temple festival arranged by the respondents 5 to 7 to the temple having the deity of Sri Mahamariamman, Sri Bagavathiamman and Sri Kollimalai Masi Karuppannasamy temples situated at Kanakkapillaiyur, Sivayam Post, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District scheduled to be conducted on 18.06.2023 to 20.06.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would 2/4

submit that the fourth respondent has requested the Tahsildar, Kulithalai to conduct a peace committee meeting with regard to the complaint lodged by the writ petitioner herein in order to avoid the law and order issue and he has also produced the copy of the requisition sent by the fourth respondent. He would further submit that the Tahsildar, Kulithalai has already fixed the date to conduct the meeting i.e., tomorrow (17.06.2023).

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Tahsildar, Kulithalai is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting tomorrow and pass an order tomorrow itself.
