ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to give patta in the name of Pattavan Kovil in respect of the property, measuring an extent of 10 cents, in S.No.736 situated at Thathagoundanpatti, Mahathanapuram Therku village, Krishnapuram Taluk, Karur District, by considering his representation dated 17.04.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that he is a Poosari of the temple mentioned above. It is also stated that the temple was constructed by his forefathers and they have been worshipping the deity therein for the past 60 years. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 17.04.2025, seeking issuance of patta in the name of the temple. The said representation has not been considered. petitioner has come before this Court seeking the above mentioned direction.

4.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without going to the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
