ORDER

A.S.Chinnasshami has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay subsistence allowance for the period between 27.04.2011 and 16.06.2016 amounting to Rs.4,55,400/- immediately and also to pay monthly subsistence allowance regularly to the petitioner and further pay the arrears of salary for the period from 2004 to 26.04.2011.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, citing the financial crunch faced by the society, agreed to pay the arrears of subsistence allowance amounting to Rs.4,55,400/- by way of six monthly installments. 3.But, this Court is not inclined to grant six monthly installments. The reason is, due to suspension, from 27.04.2011 the petitioner has been languishing without job, hence, the respondents are directed to pay Rs.4,55,400/- towards arrears of subsistence allowance in three equal monthly installments. A sum of Rs.1,50,000/- shall be paid in the first installment and the balance amount shall be paid in two equal monthly installments. The first installment shall be made on or before 08.08.2016 and the balance two equal installments shall be made on or before 8th day of September and October 2016 respectively. The respondents shall continue to pay the petitioner subsistence allowance every month without any default.

With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
