ORDER

2.Vide notice dated 06.07.2022, the Commissioner, Dindigul Municipality has called upon the petitioner to remove the encroachment in question.

3.Admittedly, the said notice was not preceded by any show cause notice. On this sole ground, it is quashed. The matter is remitted to the file of the first respondent to pass an order afresh on merits and in accordance with law.
