[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 to grant emergency leave for the period of 15 days without escort to petitioner's husband, who is languishing at Central Prison, Trichy, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 24.04.2026.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for State of TN (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner, dated 24.04.2026

has been rejected by the second respondent through the proceedings made in No.3004/Thaku.4/2025, dated 05.05.2026 and the same was also placed before this Court.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is left open to her to challenge the above proceedings in the manner known to law. No costs. [N.A.V., J.] & [K.K.R.K., J.] 01.06.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Indu
