ORDER
Mr.B.Gurusamy, has come to this Court seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent, namely, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.03.2016, for inclusion in the approved list of Assistant Accounts Officer for the year 2015-2016, based on the seniority list sent by the Director of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, Chennai, on 22.09.2015.

It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner is senior to one A.S.Raveendran, Commercial Accountant, the respondents are attempting to promote him without considering https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
his representation dated 02.03.2016 and the seniority list sent by the Director of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, Chennai, on 22.09.2015. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate was put on notice for the respondents.

In view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Chennai, is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.03.2016, in the light of the seniority list sent by the Director of Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, Chennai, on 22.09.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
