ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Superintendent of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Department from Thanjavur seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to consider his representation for transfer to the places noted in the representation.

2. A perusal of the representation, dated 19.04.2023 indicates that the said representation has been addressed to the second respondent herein and as per the said representation, the petitioner has sought transfer from Thanjavur either to Tirunelveli, Tenkasi or Thoothukudi, in the light of spouse category as per G.O(Ms)No.10 of the Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Per. S) Department, dated 07.01.1994.

3. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the said representation as and when vacancy arises and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
