2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

According to the petitioner, 10 acres of land situated at Sy.No.537/2 of Pandavarmangalam Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District belongs to Boodan Yagna Board, which has developed and divided the said property into plots. Furthermore, for more than 12 years, she is enjoying the aforesaid property situated at plot No.3, Block B3 by rearing pigs.
4. It is the case of the petitioner that the first
respondent/Chairperson/Commissioner of Land Reforms, Bhoodan Yagna Board is granting plots at the aforesaid survey numbers to landless poor persons in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958. She has applied to the respondents on many occasions to grant the aforesaid property to her in person and letters. But all ended in vain.
5. The stand of the petitioner is that on 13.01.2016, she sent a registered representation to the respondents requesting them to grant the aforesaid land by way of issuing patta. The said representation is pending for consideration, without any disposal or progress.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2016 addressed to the respondents 1 & 2 is still pending without any disposal, at this stage, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits and contents of the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.01.2016, simpliciter, directs the second respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner dated, 13.01.2016, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the second respondent is to pass a reasoned, speaking order on merits by affording necessary opportunity to the petitioner and others concerned, by adhering to the principles of Natural Justice, within a period of 6 weeks thereafter.
The petitioner is directed to lend her assistance and co-operation to the second respondent as regards the disposal of her representation dated 13.01.2016. It is open to the second respondent to call for necessary records or documents from the petitioner and the petitioner is to comply with the requirement sought for by the second respondent as expeditiously as possible.
7. With the aforesaid observations and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
