ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Though the respondents have not been served, the instructions furnished to the learned Special Government Pleader would show that the private respondents have encroached upon the water body.

2. In such view of the matter, we direct the respondent, namely, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani to take appropriate action within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
