ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the enquiry and file a detailed report before this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son died while taking bath in a tank at Vathiyarvilai Village and based on that, the petitioner has given a complaint before the second respondent Police and a First Information Report was registered in Crime No.521 of 2018, under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on 19.12.2018. But, so far no investigation has been conducted by the respondent Police, in the above circumstances, the present petition has been filed. 3.Today, when the matter was taken taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that now the enquiry is over and the second respondent is awaiting for a viscera report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

He further submitted that the respondent Police will file a final report immediately after receiving the viscera report. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the enquiry has been completed, the second respondent Police is directed to file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
