O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The recruitment notifications issued by the respondent - University are under challenge in this writ petition.

2. The impugned notifications are for direct recruitment to the posts of Professor and other posts. The said notifications were issued in the year 2020. This public interest litigation has been filed by the Welfare Association. Associations cannot maintain a writ petition in service matters and thus, this writ petition deserves to be rejected and the same is, accordingly, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
