continue his license.

3.Writ Petition in W.P(MD)No.11744 of 2016 is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent therein to accept his application and permit him to participate in the auction. 4.Writ Petition in W.P(MD)No.12247 of 2016 is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent therein to cancel the license of the 5th respondent therein in operating the weekly market.

5.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on all sides and perused the materials available on record.

6.These petitions, in one way or other, are inter-linked to the tender notice for the period ending 30.09.2017. This Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served in keeping these petitions pending, since the lease period itself is going to expire within a short span of time.

7.Under such circumstances, these writ petitions stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
