ORDER
The Writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.04.2025 seeking transfer of patta in his name in respect of the land situated in Survey No.220/2, Karungalakudi Village Group, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, measuring an extent of 2.13 Acres.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the subject property from one Prathaban under registered sale deed dated 09.04.2025 in Document No.1081/2025. Thereafter, he submitted instant representation dated 23.04.2025 seeking transfer of patta in his name based on the sale deed. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who appears for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits by the fourth respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
