ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to allow the petitioner to join duty as Town Planning Inspector or any other equalant post in the second respondent Municipality, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2017, within a time frame as fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first

respondent and the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner, seeking reemployment, had submitted a representation on 19.06.2017 to the first respondent and the same is said to be pending. The learned Counsel for the petitioner has also brought to the notice of this Court the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 10.07.2017, wherein it is stated that the petitioner's representation has been sent to the first respondent for consideration. Hence, he prays appropriate direction to the first respondent.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also in line with the proceedings of the second respondent dated 10.07.2017, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
