This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a charge sheet in Crime No.214 of 2018.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered an F.I.R. in Crime No.214 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 342, 302 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. Even though the F.I.R. was registered on 12.11.2018, so far no final report has been filed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that now the investigation is over, 16 witnesses were examined and all the accused were arrested and only awaiting for Viscera report. He would further submit that the respondent police will file a final report within a period of one month.

4. In the above circumstances, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.214 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is dispose of.
