2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. According to the petitioner, he had applied for a new family card/ration card before the third respondent in petition No.695/2015 dated 10.06.2015. Also, he made a representation on 23.05.2016 for the purpose of getting new family card to the 3rd and 4th respondents through registered post and acknowledgement due. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that the third and fourth respondents had not taken any steps in the subject matter in issue. Also, he had sent a reminder to the third respondent through RPAD on 07.06.2016. The real grievance of the petitioner is that his elder sons are joining the school during the academic https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. At this stage, the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R-1 to R-4 brings it to the notice of this Court that the Taluk Supply Officer, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District is the proper authority, before whom the petitioner is to submit his application/petition praying for issuance of family card/ration card.
5. Therefore, this Court directs the Taluk Supply Officer, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District, (although not arrayed as party by the petitioner), to take up the petition of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2015, seeking for issuance of family card within a period of 3 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to dispose of the same thereafter within a period of 10 days.
6. With the aforesaid observations and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
