This writ petition has been filed, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2016 within a stipulated time and also directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The petitioner is a poor farmer and selling vegetables at Alangudi Public Market for the past 25 years on payment of necessary
fees. The grievance of the petitioner is that as per the guidelines of the 4th respondent, in the year 2012 he paid a fee of Rs.5/- per vegetable basket. But now the 4th respondent has exorbitantly hiked the said fees and started collecting Rs.150/-. Hence, he made a representation dated 21.06.2016 to the respondents and no steps have been taken on the same. Hence, he has filed this writ petition.
4. Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
