Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to issue house site patta to any of the private individuals in respect of the Government poromboke land in Survey Nos.223 and 224 situated in Kinnimangalam Village, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 26.10.2014 and 05.12.2016. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents not to issue patta to private individuals in respect of Survey Nos.223 and 224, Kinnimangalam Village, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has contended to the effect that Survey Nos.223 and 224 are classified as Government poromboke land and so far https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

nobody has been granted patta.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended that on 26.10.2014 and 05.12.2016, representations have been given, but the same have not been considered. 4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents are directed to look into the representations dated 26.10.2014 and 05.12.2016 and dispose of the same within a period of one month.
