RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to amend the petition in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9871 of 2022 wherein the 2nd petitioner name mentioned as Kannan it has to be amend as Kannan @ Kallathan @ Raman instead of Kannan.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. KARTHICK .R.J, Advocate for the petitioners and M/S.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to amend the second petitioner's name as 'Kannan @ Kallathan @ Raman' instead of 'Kannan' in the petition and the order of this Court, passed in Crl.OP(MD)No.9871 of 2022, dated 22.06.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while preparing the petition, the name of the second petitioner was wrongly mentioned as 'Kannan'. Originally, the correct name of the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

second petitioner is 'Kannan @ Kallathan @ Raman'. Hence, he seeks above said amendment and issuance of fresh order copy. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) also would submit that the correct name of the second petitioner is 'Kannan @ Kallathan @ Raman' and he has no objection to make the above said amendment.

4.Since it is a clerical mistake while preparing the petition, this amendment petition is ordered and two weeks time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.9871 of 2022, dated 22.06.2022.

5.The Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy, after carrying out the necessary correction.
