ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e. the District Educational Officer, Kanyakumari District @ Nagercoil, to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 01.05.2016, based on the proposals sent by the second respondent i.e., the Principal of the Teacher Training Institute, Therur @ Kulasegaranpudur, Agastheesvaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District, for the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

absorption in the regular time scale of pay either in the vacant post of Office Assistant or Night Watchman as per the guidelines of the Government, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Since the prayer in the writ petition itself is for a Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.05.2016 and to pass orders thereon with regard to the grievance of the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the issue raised in the said representation of the petitioner, merely directs the respondents especially, the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.05.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
