Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus,directing the respondents 1 to 4 to allow the petitioner as well as petitioner relatives from worshipping the goddess namely Sri Marnadu Karuppasamy temple, Keela Upplikundu, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District during Kumbabishekam on 05.09.2018.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner and his relatives to worship inthe temple situated at Keela Upplikundu, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. The petitioner has given a representation dated 28.08.2018. This representation has been placed by the respondent police before the second respondent herein to conduct peace committee meeting.

3. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the second respondent has called the parties for peace committe meeting today since the festival is scheduled to be conducted on 05.09.2018.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner did not dispute the said facts.

5. Hence, there shall be a direction to the second respondent herein to hear the parties and on the conclusion of the enquiry pass appropriate orders by tomorrow (i.e 04.09.2018). The parties shall abide by the decision taken by the Tahsildhar.
