This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection at the time of surveying the property in Survey No.113/6 to the extent of 10822 sq.ft. at Alambakottai Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering his representation dated 16.12.2016.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted by calling both the parties and on the assurance given by both the parties that they will not indulge in any violence, the same has been closed. As regards Police protection sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition for survey of the land, as and when the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Revenue Authorities, who go for survey of the land, seek any police protection, it is open to the respondent police to give protection for survey of the land.
