Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.5,57,307/- towards encashment of 320 days of earned leaves and 108.5 medical leave together with 18% interest per annum along with interest amount towards the delay in paying EPF Employees Contribution Rs.2,89,580/- for the period from 30.04.17 to 20.06.18 at the same rate within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has come before this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to pay the entire terminal benefits. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. 3.The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Junior Tradesman in the respondent Corporation and retired from service on 30.04.2017. Since the terminal benefits viz., encashment of earned leave, medical leave and EPF contribution etc., have not been settled to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 30.10.2017 to the respondent and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Standing appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and appropriate orders be passed by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
