RESPONDENTS/ RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to relax the condition imposed by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.7977 of 2021 dated 07.07.2021 in respect of the case in Crime No.2716 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent police.

Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.NIRANJAN.S.KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the 1st Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed by the petitioner to relax the condition imposed on him in Crl.O.P(MD)No.7977 of 2019 on 07.07.2021.

2.It is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) that the petitioner was granted bail on 07.07.2021 inter alia conditions to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30am until further orders and he was released on 13.07.2020 after furnishing sureties. But thereafter, he did not appear before the respondent police. Therefore, he opposed this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In reply to the above, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that since there was a life threat to the petitioner, he was advised to stay away. Accordingly, the petitioner stayed at Chennai and therefore, he could not comply with the condition.

4. The reasons stated for non compliance of the condition are not satisfactory and hence, this petition stands dismissed. It is always open to the investigating agency to move cancellation of bail petition.
