ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to cancel the patta issued in the names of the private respondents 3 to15 in respect of the land situated in Survey Nos.456/1, 456/5, 456/6, 456/7 and 456/8, Venkatachalapuram Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, by considering his representation dated 17.06.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M. Manimuthu learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 3 to 15, notice to the respondents 3 to 15 is dispensed with.
3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, he and his ancestors have been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property for more than 45 years. The official respondents, ignoring the possession of the petitioner, issued patta for the subject property in favour of the private respondents. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 17.05.2025 seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of private respondents and issuance of patta in his name. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and private respondents 3 to 15. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
