O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the the respondent police, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2021, dated 26.01.2021 and file a final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent seeks one month further time to file a final report.

3. During the course of investigation, Mr.Sakthi Kumaran, learned counsel appearing for the intervenor represented that a case in Crime No.3 of 2021 against all the accused persons has been quashed in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10858 of 2021, with a condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Only) on or before 15.05.2022, and the second respondent, therein shall withdraw the Criminal Revision Case in Crl.R.C.No.748 of 2017, pending before this Court. It was further stated in the said order that, if the petitioners fail to comply with the condition imposed by this Court, the first respondent therein was directed to complete 2/4

the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2021 and file a final report as against all the accused persons. Now, the petition is pending before the concerned Judge, for deposit of the amount. Hence, the learned counsel seeks further time to file an application for clarification with regard to the condition imposed by this Court.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the clarification to be made by the learned Judge in this matter. 18.07.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no ebsi To
