ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.766 of 2021 pending on the file of the second respondent police within time limit as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.766 of 2021 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks two weeks time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4.Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
