PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the enquiry conducted pursuant to the proceedings in Na.Ka.C2/25203/2016 dated 16.11.2016. For Petitioner :

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3. Alleging that the authorities, pursuant to the direction of this Court, had initiated enquiry proceedings as early as in the year 2015, but, had not passed any final orders, with regard to the correction / entry in the revenue records, the petitioner is before this Court, again, seeking a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders on the enquiry proceedings, pending before him in Na.Ka.C2/25203/2016 dated 16.11.2016.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim, directs the second respondent to dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.C2/25203/2016 dated 16.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
