Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records,connected with the detention order of the second respondent in S.R.No.42/D.O/2021, dated 14.07.2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Manivannan son of Marimuthu aged 25 years, now detained as "Drug Offender" at Madurai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in S.R.No.42/D.O/2021, dated 14.07.2021, by the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, on instructions submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention, by the order in G.O.Rt.No.3965, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 31.08.2021. 3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary.
