Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in S.R.No.54/D.O/2021, dated 25.07.2021, on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Vincent Raja, aged about 24 years, S/o.Rajendran, now detained at Madurai Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5002, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 28.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
