ORDER

The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted, directing the respondents to maintain Arulmigu Vishwanatha Swamy - Visalatchi Amman Temple Car, Sivakasi, in the present place by covering the same by tin sheets, so as to protect the same from open air, rain and sun on the basis of the petitioner's representation 02.08.2024.

2.The relief sought for herein is not falling under the characteristics of Public Interest Litigation. The public interest must be in a larger perspective and such relief sought for to cover the temple car would not provide a cause for instituting Public Interest Litigation. Thus, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the same stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
