PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to call for the entire records connected in impugned FIR in Crime No.3 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal as against the petitioner and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

The present petition has been filed by Accused Nos.1 to 4 in Crime No.3 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2024, wherein they are committed offences punishable under sections 147, 294(b), 353 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act.

2. According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, the charge sheet was filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil, on 10.09.2024 and the same was taken on file on 11.09.2025.

3. In view of the subsequent developments that have occurred during the pendency of the present petition, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed, with liberty granted to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet in accordance with law, if he is so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
