ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 15.05.2025 for name change in the free electricity Service Connection No. 068-017-21.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.05.2025 will be considered and disposed of within a period of four weeks.

3. Although the petitioner has rushed to this Court without giving breathing time to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.05.2025, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition based on the undertaking given by the learned Standing counsel for the respondent.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 15.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today. It is needless to state that before passing final orders, the respondent shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as 2/4

any other third party, who is likely to be affected. There shall no order as to costs.
