RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT /COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time granted by this Honble Court in Crl.MP.(MD).No.5065 of 2021 in Crl.OP.(MD).No.2918 of 2021 dated 28.07.2021 for the purpose of surrender and to execute the sureties before the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II,Dindigul.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.VAKEESWARAN C, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2918 of 2021 dated 02.07.2021.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that this is the second application for extension of time. They have already filed an application in Crl.M.P(MD)No.5065 of 2021 and this Court, by order dated 28.07.2021, has extended the time by two weeks to comply with the order. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, the petitioners could not arrange the sureties and therefore, they have filed this application for extension. He further submit that the petitioners, in order to show their bona fide, are prepared to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) as well.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition, this petition is allowed on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of Government of Tamil Nadu, CMPRF in IOB, Secretariat Branch, Chennai-9 (Account No.11720 10000 00070,IFSC Code : IOBA0001172)and time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
