Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, her family and to her properties in Survey Nos.147 (10-A), 147(13), 147 (3B), 147(4), 147(5), 147(8), 147(9), 148A(1A), 148A(1C) and 148A(3) at Keelakadayam, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, her family and to her properties in Survey Nos.147 (10-A), 147(13), 147 (3B), 147(4), 147(5), 147(8), 147(9), 148A(1A), 148A(1C) and 148A(3) to an extent of 102.5 Ares at Keelakadayam, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's mother owned a property in Survey Nos.147 (10-A), 147(13), 147 (3B), 147(4), 147(5), 147(8), 147(9), 148A(1A), 148A(1C) and 148A(3) to an extent of 102.5 Ares at Keelakadayam, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. She executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner's son Karthick with respect to the above property dated 03.02.

2010, subsequently, the settlement deed was cancelled on 31.05.2010. Now, the petitioner is living with two daughters and taking advantage of the situation, the third respondent / brother of the petitioner and one Velpandian tried to create encumbrance over the property and disturbed their peaceful possession. Hence, she has filed a suit in O.S.No.283 of 2011 before the learned Principal District Munsif, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District and the same was decreed on 27.08.2013. Subsequently, her husband also died in the year 2015.

before the first respondent on 03.05.2022 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent for necessary action through the communication vide P/Camp/54/SPO-H/2022 dated 03.05.2022. So far, the respondent police have not taken any action. Hence, she filed this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the respondent police is ready to conduct an enquiry and the petitioner may be directed to co-operate with the respondent police.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the second respondent police is hereby directed to conduct an enquiry upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 03.05.2022 and take suitable action on merits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
